Maybe I’m not susceptible to hypnosis but…
I went through the program. The application is basically a hypnotherapy session. It has some cheesy graphics to play to help you relax but as you are supposed to close your eyes within 30 seconds of starting the application I don’t see the point. After this a recording (which sounds a little clipped on my macbook, like the voice signal was recorded a little too strong or is too loud for my speakers) guides you through a relaxation session of items like start with your feet, feel the relaxation moving through your body, now imagine a safe comfortable place, you are there, etc. This is combined with some breathing exercises. While the voice was very peaceful and calm, and while I can see some people may be very affected by this, I was not. When the application was over I felt pretty much the same as when I started… enough so that I could write this review directly after being put to sleep. I don’t think I am coming across too sleepy. ;-)
So, maybe for some people this is very helpful but I didn’t find it so. Also, as an aside, this whole application could be replaced with a 35 minute mp3 file and you wouldn’t notice any difference.
